Meng XIA
Researcher · Founder · Systems Architect
Meng Xia's research is centered on a persistent question: how data reshapes perception, space, and social relations. This inquiry runs through her entire research trajectory, from digital media studies, computational architecture, and architectural robotics, to spatial intelligence systems, embodied data, and public policy.
From how machines sense space, to how space senses people.
She is currently a PhD researcher at UCL Bartlett School of Architecture, working on spatial intelligence and adaptive XR narrative systems. She concurrently serves as Principal Researcher at AIXR Lab(UK) and Founder of AIXR Technology (Shanghai). She is committed to building substantive dialogue between AI technical research and policy governance across the UK and China.
